It focuses on developing statistical models of VLC channels and analysing their impact on communication performance, including channel gain, field-of-view limitations, receiver orientation, channel estimation, and error behaviour. The research provides analytical approaches for understanding the reliability and performance of VLC links when the receiver is not fixed in a predetermined position or direction. By characterising channel randomness and its effects on signal reception, the study contributes to the design and performance evaluation of robust visible-light wireless communication systems for next-generation communication applications.</subfield>
